How We Support Oral and Maxillofacial Pathways

We collaborate with NHS Trusts to provide additional capacity and expertise in key areas of oral and maxillofacial care, including:

  • Outpatient Oral and Maxillofacial Clinics: Offering additional capacity for consultations and assessments, covering a range of conditions such as facial trauma, oral cancers, salivary gland diseases, and jaw disorders. Our Oral and Maxillofacial Consultants help Trusts manage outpatient demand and reduce waiting times.
  • Diagnostic Services: Supporting diagnostic services with procedures such as fine needle aspiration (FNA), imaging (including CT and MRI scans), and biopsies. Our Specialist Maxillofacial Teams help Trusts address diagnostic backlogs, ensuring timely interventions for complex cases.
  • Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery: Providing skilled Surgeons for procedures ranging from simple extractions and corrective jaw surgery to more complex reconstructions, facial trauma repairs, and tumour resections. Our surgical expertise helps Trusts reduce waiting times for these critical procedures and meet patient demand.
  • Post-Operative and Follow-Up Care: Assisting with post-operative monitoring and follow-up clinics to ensure patients recover smoothly and receive the necessary aftercare. Our Consultants, Nurses, and Support Staff ensure continuity of care while supporting the Trust’s permanent teams.

Our highly experienced teams, including Consultants, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Nurses, and Support Staff, work closely with NHS Trusts to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of oral and maxillofacial services.
