How We Support Trauma and Orthopaedics Pathways

We collaborate with NHS Trusts to deliver additional capacity and specialist expertise in the following key areas:

  • Outpatient Clinics: Providing additional clinics for trauma and orthopaedic consultations, follow-ups, and pre-operative assessments. Our Orthopaedic Surgeons and Specialist Nurses help Trusts manage outpatient waiting lists, ensuring timely patient care for conditions such as fractures, joint issues, and musculoskeletal injuries.
  • Diagnostic Support: Offering diagnostic services such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans for orthopaedic patients, helping Trusts reduce diagnostic bottlenecks and manage patient flow efficiently.
  • Surgical Expertise: Providing skilled Orthopaedic Surgeons for procedures such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopies. Our teams work with Trusts to ensure surgical capacity meets demand, alleviating pressure on in-house teams.
  • Post-Operative Care: Supporting Trusts with follow-up clinics and post-operative monitoring, ensuring smooth patient recovery and ongoing management of musculoskeletal conditions. Our Specialist Nurses and Consultants provide continuity of care, allowing Trust staff to focus on other priorities.

Our teams, which include Consultants, Orthopaedic Surgeons, Anaesthetists, Nurses, and Support Staff, work closely with NHS Trusts to ensure that trauma and orthopaedic services are delivered efficiently and effectively.
